I have a Baoer 100 and let me tell you: it is a smooth writer. It looks good, but nothing exceptional. Above all, it’s a simple and reliable pen. I have 2 nibs for it (the EF and F) and I’m thinking about getting a B or a Fude Nib.
I agree with you. If you’re considering a Fude nib, you might consider a stub. These pens are great with stub nibs 👍
How does it compare with other classic pens like the Hero 616? Is the Baoer 100 made of plastic or metal?
Hello Sean. The Baoer 100 is made of metal and is heavier than the Hero 616. It’s actually heavier than any Hero fountain pen available on the website. Overall this is a much more solid pen than the hero 616.
Another difference is in the filling mechanism. The Hero 616 comes with a Sac, while the Baoer 100 uses cartridges and its own converter. Hope it helps 😊
