How To Use The Cleaning Cartridges With 5ml Syringe
It’s incredibly easy to clean both the feed and nib of your fountain pens.
- Start by unscrewing the fountain pen barrel
- Remove the pen converter or cartridge
- Fill an inkwell, a glass or any recipient with clean water or cleaning solution
- Put the 5ml syringe tip into the water and pull to draw up water (or flush)
- Insert the cleaning cartridge into the pen body and fit the syringe in the bottom of the cartridge
- Pull the water or cleaning flush into the cleaning cartridge
- Repeat the process until the water runs clear through the nib
- Leave parts to air dry for an hour before reassembling the fountain pen.
